As such is the Army

It seems as though so much has happened since my last blog. The main thing that I am wanting to vent about is the wonderful life of the Army wife! As you know we are waiting for orders... well we got word yesterday that yes, we are on assignment!!! Woo Hoo!!! How exciting! The only problem.... they are not planning on moving us until JANUARY!!!! UGH!!!! Are you kidding me!?!?!? The first issue with this is the fact that trying to drive over the pass between Oregon and California is horrible in the middle of winter. Second, Krystae is going to Pre-K in Washington and in California she will be going to kindergarden. That is almost half way though the school year. I don't want her to end up behind because we couldn't move on time. Another issue is that I have to start my externship for school in November. It is hard to find a location, let alone two different locations in two different states... ugh... I think that my life is destined to be stressful! And lastely is the shooting that occurred a week ago outside our front door. I was really hoping that we would be leaving this place sooner rather than later. Bullets flying past my kids bedroom windows is just a no go for me... sorry, can't handle that one! So, let's just keep praying that everything ends up getting itself worked out today! I mean I know that this life is a test. That I am being tested... but come on now... can't I get some sort of a brake here? I could really use some down time!
